Virtual Store?

Can someone please explain the Virtual Store under Windows 7 for Sage?

I'm setting up a new Sage Server with 2x HDHR tuners (worked fine under XP) and when I do the HDHR setup, it places the .scn files in this Virtual Store.

However, When Sage does the channel scan on the HDHR .scn files I have to manually copy them to the normal Program Files\SageTV\SageTV directory for sage to use them.

Is this normal?

Yes. You can give full permissions to the SageTV directory or disable UAC and reinstall Sage to get around this. With UAC enabled your local user doesn't have permission to write to any of the directories under Program Files.

Sorry still not following.....

I should disable UAC and sage will work like it did on XP? Or do I still have to copy stuff all over?

This is known & there should be a blurb about it in the HDHR instructions in the hardware forum -- if the HDHR software puts the scn files somewhere other than where SageTV ends up looking for them, copy the files to where SageTV wants them. (If I remember correctly, the HDHR software always puts the scn files in thr VirtualStore, but it has been a while since I looked into it.)
