Feature request: Add windows system event log disk errors to Sage system messages
Hey there,
Just about the only thing that has caused me grief with Sage over the past few years has been disk errors. Everything will be fine and then all of a sudden you get the spinning thinger of wait while Windows and Sage battle to deal with a disk write error. I expect that many users do not go straight for the event viewer, blaming the random instability on Sage rather than a hardware failure. Could sage periodically check the system event log and report on any events with the 'disk' 'ftdisk' or 'ntfs' source via the new(ish) system messages notification feature? I'm guessing that this would help many users as every disk will eventually fail. Mick.
