Some MP3s do not play
Hi,
I have a strange issue where some of my MP3s ( 3 albums out of 25 ) do not play on SageTV , and I get a playback exception ERROR(-5,0x80040266 ). All the faulty ones are MP3/320Kbps@44.1kHz Stereo. But I have some others working with the same audio details. I tried to play them through placeshifter using my laptop and they play fine. Any idea what could be wrong with these ( I was thinking maybe ID3 tagging ? ) but before I changed that I wxas wondering if there is a way to change the MP3 player used, through menus or by modifying files ? Thank you for your help.

I've been very happy using the WinAMP plugin. It hasn't been updated in quite a while, but.. well.. neither has Sage's music playback.. so it still works great... also give the ability to use MilkDrop visualizations... which is very nice. It does take some studio tweaking to get installed... but I have made an STVi to do those mods for you (I'll try to post up the STVi tomorrow for it in the winamp plugin thread).

I followed the installation instructions and it is now working fine. Winamp plays all the mp3s in the background.
