It is also an example of a search term that doesn't result in any matches... even though there is at least one.

Hrm. I was trying to search for one of my old posts the other day and couldn't find even though I am positive I posted about the property I searched for. Weird.

Search freaks out when there are non-alphabetic characters adjacent to terms you are searching for. There is NO workaround that I know of.

Yeah, I figured that the non-alpha chars were the problem this time, but I've had problems finding 'regular' words too -- like ErsatzTom says: I've searched for words I know I've used & it didn't find the posts. (No, I don't remember which ones... I haven't kept track.) I've just learned to try various phrases to see what else shows up. I'm simply pointing this out as a tip for others not to search on just one word/phrase.

Yup, I've noticed some really funky issues with trying to search...nothing that Frey can do about it though...just the way VBulletin was written I guess.

the real question here is how can *I* get a line in the properties file named after me? for example,

PVR_350_HW_OutAlwaysWorksforMaximumPig=[true/false]

I would set it to true.

I believe that is already in there, but is read-only and defaults to false

Personally, I'm glad that use_mlbdude_sage_recordings is now false... why should I have to watch his recordings!? I would rather use my own recordings.
