Disconnect wireless keyboard and booted to home screen?

This is a consistent problem I have been having. I keep getting booted back to the home screen while watching videos, etc. (video still plays in window)

Sometimes I'll be doing nothing, but I have noticed every time I power off the wireless keyboard (Logitech DiNovo), I get kicked back to the home screen. Out of desperation, I have tried unlinking the 'Home' key from the keyboard shortcuts, but to no avail.

Anyone seen something like this or can give debugging suggestions?

This is an IR keyboard? And presumably you have an IR remote as well. If that's the case, then the issue is most likely crosstalk between the two IR systems. Your keyboard is sending out IR signals that your remote's IR receiver is picking up and thinking you've pressed Home on the remote. That's why unlinking the keyboard shortcut for Home didn't help; you'd need to unlink the remote key binding instead. Of course then the Home key on your remote would be useless.

As a test, you could try putting your hand over the keyboard's IR emitter while powering it on and off.

The keyboard is Bluetooth. I have an IR MCE remote as well. I do have another RF wireless connected, maybe I'll try with it disconnected...

Even with all other input devices disconnected, the problem still occurs. I have no problems with any other applications so I guess it's time to start an official support request.

Hello is there a solution or workaround for this? I have this happening in SageTV and SageTVClient 7.1.9 on different machines with 2 different Logitech wireless keyboards. These use the Logitech Unifying receiver. Would upgrading to SageTV 9 opensource remedy this? Thanks

It is fixed in Open Source SageTV V9.
