How do I rip a 5.1 channel recording?
So, I like recording live music performances from TV and ripping it to mp3 files for my own enjoyment. There's is just something about a live performance that is better then many albums. I don't share this on the internet, it's really just for my enjoyment.
Up until now I've only been successful ripping analog service recordings. It's typically gone: comcast analog cable-->PVR-500 recording-->into Goldwave for ripping and editing So with Comcast pulling so many stations from analog service, I've had to change my tuner setup. And now I've lost my ability to do what I want. Here's what happens: OTA HDTV-->AverMedia HD Tuner-->Goldwave only pulls in one good channel, the other channel is only there partially I don't know if there's a better multi-channel sound editing program I should be using...does anyone know?
