Unhappy Time & Guide CAN'T be fixed.

I have been playing with this for over a week now. I have read other topics about it, but haven't found an answer. My clock and guide in Sage TV is wrong. Right now my computer says it is 11:26. Then I open Sage TV and it my computer says it is 10:26. Sage TV hower says it is 9:26. I sync my computer with time.windows.com. Now my computer says it is 11:26 again. And Sage says it is 10:26. Also now everything in the Sage guide that starts at 8 now says it starts at 7. I have turned on and off evry possible setting I know of (sync system clock with Sage TV server, turning daylight savings time on AND off on my computer) I change a setting, and force a guide update, everything is messed up, I change another setting, force a guide upsate, everything is messed up. I think I am going mad...lol. Anyway because I can't fix this sometimes it records the right shows and sometimes it dosen't. What is the 100% settings I need on both Windows XP and Sage TV to get the times and guide to finally sync up?

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated!!

Do you have windows set not to update the time for daylight savings time, that caused a similar problem for some around here.

Sage time is wrong on my system

Day light saving time is on

windows syncs with nist.gov and it is correct
I am central time and it is set correctly
the correct time is 12:38 PM and Sage says it is 5:38 PM

time_zone= property

Running XP-Pro with latest SP
Sage version is 2.2.? Down loaded 7 days ago
file is sage.properties
time_zone=
I set it to time_zone=CST
Save and close the file and then reopen and the change is there.
I close the Sage menu and reopen - the time is still wrong. When I open sage.properties file again my change has been overwritten to time_zone=
I change sage.properties file to be read only and the same thing happens since sage changes the file back to r/w.

You have to edit the properties file while Sage is closed.

Sage Time and system time still five hrs apart

time_zone=CST now remains set.
stopped service and UI and restarted.
File is correct.
time in upper right corner of the UI is still shows sage 5 hrs ahead of CST.

To Solve the Problem:
Uninstalled SageTV
Installed latest JAVA as opposed to what SAGE installed during the Sage installation. Now running Jave 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_06 and J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 2
Reinstalled SageTV

This also appears to have improved performance.
