Extender transcodes online streams?
I've got an HD200 running in extender/placeshifter mode at
a vacation home. When I watch "online" content like the Discovery News it seems like the HD200 is receiving all of the media transcoded by the SageTV server rather than directly from the content provider. When using the HD200 as a placeshifter, is there any way to stream direct from the source without a transcode through designing a customization?

I don't believe you can do that. In Placeshifter mode, everything comes through the server. Not sure there's a way around that.
