Automatic Forum Login

Am I the only one that now has to login to the forum every time? Several days ago the "remember me" function just stopped working. At first I thought it was something screwy with my home computer but now today at work it also does not work.

Same here, except in reverse. Noticed it on the work computer but though it was the machine but my home computer was the same.

It works on my PC. Does it remember the log in after you reset it & open the window again later?

Oh, well if you are using a custom browser, you have to use the custom browser forum.

(I don't really know why that would happen in Firefox.)

Does it force you to login every time you open a browser or just the one time?

If it is every time, I've seen comments that it could be a cookie corruption issue (?). Try closing all but one browser window, log out of the forum, close the browser (make sure it isn't running in Windows' Task Manager), delete any cookies related to sagetv or freytechnologies (depending on what address you use to reach the forum), then try logging in again.

It was happening every time I started the browser
I cleaned all the cookies in firefox and it now works.

Thank you

I use firefox and it works fine for me. You folks need to clear your cookies/cache, restart the browser and see if that helps.

Mine wasn't keeping me logged in either. I deleted the sage cookies, and all seems well now.

Using firefox.

Mine was a one-time deal. Happened at work first on IE6 and has been fine since then. When I got home FF did the same thing, and has been working fine since.

A one-time event is nothing to worry about; that can happen with a minor forum update, among other things.
