Slow interface

The interface is snappy and lets me fly around the menus with no lag until I either watch tv or a movie. After that there is significant lag. If I restart sagetv then it'll run smooth again.

I've tried reinstalling and i've disabled the video on the menus.

Also i'm running the sage_mc gui. And sagetv is version 6.6

I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting at this point.

I guess I did space the specs (Let me know if you need anything else):
XP Pro - SP3
Pentium D @ 2.66GHz
4GB Ram
Radeon x300 128MB
2x ATA 7200RPM 250GB
Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1800

I'm using all of the latest updates for SageTV and Sage_MC.

Also when sage does slow down there is basically no load on the system (i.e. 10% - 15% cpu usage and 25% ram usage).

Check your Java Heap size. Search for "Java Heap" and you will find loads of hits.
