Hauppauge 2250 Remote (MCE) with irremote.ini
Currently have hvr-1600 in pc and using the Hauppauge 45 button remote with the irremote.ini file.
Picked up (free) a Hauppauge 2250 (MCE) remote. Can I configure the irremote.ini file to recognize the MCE remote? Anyone know what SystemCode it uses? I can handle the rest once I figure out the SystemCode

It's an MCE Remote. I believe you'll need an IR MCE Receiver to even be able to use that remote. Some Hauppauge's came with that remote and a MCE receiver. Different than the receiver you have with your hvr-1600.
