Recording Directory Network Drive
Using XP Pro. SageTV software, not "recorder". Sorry dropped this in wrong forum.
I mapped a network drive. But, I can't seem to tell Sage where it is. Tried.. //Stingray/C/Temp (Stingray is server name) \\Stingray\C\temp M: (the mapped drive drive letter) But it asks "create folder?" and fails if I say yes. What is wrong? Last edited by Zinc; 02-13-2010 at 07:19 PM. |

Do you have Sage configured to run as a service? If so, you can't use mapped drive letters, since services can't see those. Also, the LocalSystem user can't access network resources (that's why it's called LocalSystem), so you'll need to configure the service to log in as some other user with permission to access those shares.
