Sorry. I reread what I posted. What I meant was the Ortus Trailers plugin.

Thats correct.... grouped by the import date.

I was hoping that wasn't the case..... the answer is no it wont work fully in its current form... the trailer plugin will need to be updated to fully work (mainly theme images).

btl.
Ya, its something I would never use either but it was easy enough to add so we did..... its pretty much the same as grouping by year, filesystem etc, I'd never use those. All I really use is view all by newest first or sort alphabetical.

We also filter out home movies and use different views for these.... home movies are asigned their own media type, I guess its pretty much like phoenix.

Yeah, I suspect that Phoenix and Ortus are more or less the same thing done slightly different ways.

One clearly superior of course

Below is a screenshot of the last view thats just been finished off..... that makes seven different views in total (for movies, tv series has these plus some additional ones)

The other screenshot shows a quick jump menu which is available in all seven views.

We'll think about that one. The filter menus above need to be removed now as they dont sit right with the additional views so maybe it'll be enlarged and moved up but we'll see.

Is the bottom left corner indicating that you are listening to music while scrolling through the movie view, and showing what song is playing? If so, and I can't imagine what else that would be, that's COOL!!

Any other music tweaks/adds/changes you can show?

Yes it is (I listen to music whilst working in studio).... the "Standard List" view has scrolling data to show what your watching/listening to as there isn't room for an image.... there are no other music tweaks to speak of at the moment.

Looked at the youtube video - in the views choices, is "filesystem" equal to a "by folder" view? Unless I missed it, that's the only view that is not actually demonstrated in the video.

Yes.... although they aren't classed as views as such but more media groupings (group by: filesystem. import date, release year, genre or none).

Sorry - that's what I meant, "media groupings" - I'm at work and couldn't remember all the terminology.

Nice work. Looking forward to it.
