Change your time in windows, assuming your using windows. In XP it would be the Regional & Language Options icon in the control panel.

In SageTV v2.15 the clock is automatically set to 24h if you regional setting is correct.
In 1.4 the time is always 12h. I dont know about the recorder but one can assume that it will be fixed there to. |

The only thing I can think of is that my "standards and formats" has been set to English (United States), but this is because I want Windows to use English language in dialogs and stuff instead of the language spoken here. The location is properly set to my country though... |

XMLTV plugin won't change anything it passes dates to sage as the number of milliseconds since 00:00 1/1/1970 GMT...
(and I just noticed 24h clock didn't work for me in 2.2.8!)

update:
SageTV 4.x (and probably earlier versions too) will only use 24h clock when you set the region in Windows to one that has a 24h clock by default. If you set it to English (United States) and then modify the time format to 24h for that region, it won't work. Bug in Windows or SageTV (or even Java)? |

Anybody have any new solutions to this problem. I live in the US and dont have a single 12 hour clock. It drives me INSANE. Cant we just set a setting in some preferences file somewhere?

Oddly yes I am the one who created that thread. The problem wasn't addressed there either.
The main point is that we (US users) shouldnt have to switch the entire computers regional settiongs to be UK in order to have a 24 hour clock. Sage needs to be able to detect that the system is in 24h format just like every other program does and not rely on complete regional adjustment.
