GetAiringsForShow() - doesn't seem to do what I thought it would

It appears that GetAiringsForShow(), when passed in GetShow(someAiring, Time()), returns all of the future airings of that exact Episode.

It's probably a naming semantics thing - I was expecting all of the future airings for a particular Show - ie if I pass in an Airing that is some episode of 'Friends', I'd expect that method to return Airing objects for all the future times any episode Friends is going to be broadcast.

SO - it doesn't work that way. Is there a built in method that will do this? I am having trouble finding it if there is.

Basically I'm trying to create a little info panel that shows future Airings of the highlited item in the EPG, but using the above method it's just showing future repeats of the exact Show.

"Show" is referring to SageTV's concept of Show (the Show API); it isn't used as a generic term for a TV series.

Consider using SearchSelectedExactFields() & search for the title. That's what the default STV uses to find airings, which are then filtered for future/past/recordings under this action widget (fomr before REM was added to such lines):
"Use ShowTitle & ShowAirings to Prepare Additional Airings display"
