USB-UIRT & Dish TV HD Receivers - Do They Get Along?
Am seriously considering Dish for my cable as Charter is just not even close with HD channels. I have an HD-PVR being fed by my Charter STB via USB-UIRT. USB-UIRT is 99.999% flawless.
My question is this - is it easy to control the non-DVR HD-capable Dish receivers with the USB-UIRT? Controlling my Charter/Motorola STB was literally chimp-simple as it worked fine with a default Motorola profile.
DirecTV is not an option for me due to some channel choices.
Our plan would be to have a Dish DVR upstairs, and then 2-3 HD Dish Receivers downstairs on the Sage Server feeding a present and soon-to-be bought HD-PVR plus a SD input on one of my Hauppauge cards' unused analog 480i inputs.
Any thoughts, recommendations, or absolute "stay the heck away froms" ?
Thanks.
