Weird problem comskip and STVClient UNC

So earlier in the week I converted from UNC paths back to drive letter paths to try to eliminate a problem with halted recordings. Since then it appears that new recordings will not show markings or skip commercials on my win7 sagetvclient machine. Comskip still works fine on new recordings on the server and on my HD100. Just new recordings, and just on the client. Any ideas? is there something on the sagetv client machine I should be looking at?

You have to map the drive letters exactly the way they are on the server.

example on my machine.

I record to M:\sagem and M:\sagen on my clients my mapped drives are > \\servername\m$ to M and \\servername\n$ to N.

To do this the same user must exist on the client and server and have a password. Also on the XP server you have to disable simple sharing.

1. Open My Computer from the Start Menu or Windows XP Desktop. A new My Computer window will appear.
2. Open the Tools menu and choose the "Folder Options..." option from this menu. A new Folder Options window will appear.
3. Click on the View tab and locate the "Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended)" checkbox in the list of Advanced Settings.
4. To enable Simple File Sharing, ensure this checkbox is checked. To disable Simple File Sharing, ensure this checkbox is not checked. Click inside the checkbox to alternately enable and disable the option.
5. Click OK to close the Folder Options window. The settings for Simple File Sharing are now updated; no computer reboot is required.

Doh!, I swear I've forgotten more things than I currently retain in my 6 years of sage use. That fixed it, thanks.
