Question Queston on calling up info menu while watching

This is probably a simple operator malfunction on my part, but one annoyance I've had with the GUI is that during playback of a Sage Recording I can't seem to directly pull up the info menu (i.e. to delete it, check detailed info, etc.). The info key and the back/exit key just bring up the OSD and the left arrow just rewinds.

To go from playback to info menu I seem to have to use the menu key to access the home menu, select sage recordings again, and highlight the movie I was watching again and push info. Am I missing a more obvious way to go directly to the info menu from playback?

Thanks,
Kevin

The pop-up menu brought up by the Options command has Detailed Info as the top menu item.

You can use the BACK command to return to the previous screen, which might have been the detailed info screen, or you can use the OPTIONS command to pop-up a menu with a button that gives access to the detailed info screen.

I knew it would be somthing obvious

I kept thinking of options as only for display toggles. I should have realized that it's more now, especially with the advent of menu choices in .16

Thanks!

I'm fairly certain that my back command didn't put me back to the Sage Recordings list which would have been the last screen before playback. I'll play around more tonight.

On the Hauppauge remote the back button isn't linked to the back command anymore, it is linked to the TV command. You can assign it to the back command in Setup -> Detailed Setup -> Commands -> Link Infrared/Keystroke to SageTV Command. That will give it the same function it had in the earlier Betas: it will take you to the previous screen and if pressed repeatedly it will take you to the Main Menu
