Automaically choosing with multiple IMDB matches

How do I tell BMT which entry to use when it finds multiple matches in an IMDB lookup automatically?

For example, Parenthood. There is a 2010 version and a non-2010 version. The Parenthood (2010) is the correct one, of course. The series recording must be manually matched by using the menu to lookup the metadata, then selecting Parenthood (2010) to associate the recording to the correct fan art.

Is there a parameter in the properties file or something?

Depends on the version of bmt. The process is different depending on the version. In version 4 it might be as simple as renaming the title to include the year... ie, "Parenthood (2010).avi" should be enough to force a year match. 3.x didn't take the year into account.

Of course this only applies to imported videos - you can't really re-name a Sage recording.

I am using BMT 3.1. The show is a TV recording. "Parenthood" is what appears in the Sage guide, Sage finds and records the series correctly. Once the recording is finished, there is no fanart associated with it. When you look up Parenthood at IMDB, it finds three TV series named Parenthood from 1989, 1990, and 2010. I am assuming that BMT cannot decipher which search result is the correct one, therefore it chooses the first entry. I can manually do the lookup and choose the 2010 version of the show to set the association correctly.

Hopefully that helps. I have 3 different series-recorded shows that have this same problem.

Bmt 3.1 does not take the year into account.
