right-to-left text

While hebrew text worked great on the v6 of Sage it seems there are some issues with it on v7 - sometimes it seems that the fonts are not loading or something like that, as you'll get squares instead of the actual letters (it seems this occur randomly).

And the text it self if flipped - written left-to-right rather then the correct direction right-to-left.

Any suggestions?

Yes, the new font system doesn't support BIDI text. Rename the "fonts" subdirectory to something else (or erase it) and it will work fine using the Java builtin font system.

Don't forget the "load_complete_glyph=true" or similar, in the .properties file.

nope didn't work so good as now english fonts are missing... I'll have to try this again

That's funny. I have no idea what the problem might be. I have this working correctly on my Sage v7 (heb and eng).

Maybe somehow Java maps the generic sans-serif fonts to something different from Arial. Or maybe problems with default code page, locale, etc. What OS are you using ?
