ATI Radeon Overlay Settings

I have a 9200 and can't get the overlay settings to save. I watch a show in sage, change the overlay settings for bright, contr, etc. and everything is wonderful.

I switch programs and the overlay settings are different. They don't seem to return to the same settings either, kinda random.

Anybody else see this?

I don't think they will save... my guess is that the ATI overlay settings are only good for the currently created overlay, and that when sage changes channels it destroys and recreates a new overlay instance. In the process you loose your custom settings. I have seen this with other cards as well not just ATI.

So what's the solution? Where is the overlay getting it's settings? I like the control that's offered but it's pretty much useless if it has to be set for every instance.

For me the solution has been to tweak the pvr cards color calibration and leave the ati card on it's defaults. Also some decoder codecs allow color teaking in their settings, might be another option
