There's now a new version in the plugin repository that includes the changes included in the 1.3.3 version, but also works with a new version of Multi-Function Stop.

I needed to make some changes to the Multi-Function Stop plugin as well, so that both plugins would play nicely.

Thank you for the update, everything appears to be playing nicely together now.

I'm not sure why, but I'm having problems with this plugin. I've set it so that it will always set the AR to 'Fill' on any capture device any channel. Unfortunately it doesn't always work as I check and find that the AR is set to 'Source'.

I found that if I set AARMS messages to be on then it seemed to work all the time but sometimes the message wouldn't go away. I read that the plugin was updated to fix this but for whatever reason, mine still leaves the message up even though it is the up-to-date version.

Is there a way for me to check what version I'm using or better yet, is there a way to totally scratch the version I have from disc and then reinstall the latest version?

In the SageTV Plugins -> Installed Plugins check that the plugin called Auto Aspect Ratio is NOT installed/enabled.

The plugin is called "Automatic Aspect Ratio Mode Switcher" in the UI Mod section and should be version 1.3.4. Click on that and select Uninstall. Also there is a dependency in the Library section called nielm_autoaspect that should should uninstall as well if you're totally remove it.

Follow the promps to restart etc., Check that you don't have a file called nielm_autoaspect.jar in the JARS directory. If there is still one there, delete it.

Then from Available Plugins install "Automatic Aspect Ratio Mode Switcher", that will also install dependencies.

Hope that makes sense.

Perfect sense. I've followed the steps you outlined and all seems well. The 'problem' is intermittent so time will tell. Thanks for your help.

Same problem. Sage will not allow me to uninstall the old plugin. The option simply doesn't appear on my client. It also won't allow me to configure the new one. I get the same error as above. The plugin does nothing at all at this point.

What version of SageTV? When you say client, do you mean SageTV client?

You need to be in the Installed Plugins area to uninstall a plugin. The option is not there in the All Available Plugins panel.
