Disapearing extender video after .12 upgrade

Got a problem after upgrading to 7.0.12.

After the screen saver comes on, give it a few minutes and the screen will turn completely black on extenders. It happens on 200's and 100's. Also, one of the 200's is on the may firmware and one is on the most recent beta firmware.

If I downgrade back to 7.0.11 the problem goes away.

When the screen goes blank, it's not killing the video because the tv isn't showing all the text (like video input, etc) you usually see when there's no video.

When you press a button on the remote, the red light blinks on the hd200, but nothing happens, you have to power cycle the extender to get it to work again.

I have never used any custom themes.....

Anyy ideas? WAF is plummeting :-)

Just a thought, did you upgrade the HD200 to the beta firmware?
Press video out on the remote to cycle through the different outputs 480, 720, 1080i/p. You might have an issue others were having: http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49631

I did use the latest beta firmware, but then downgraded to the may beta firmware I've been using since, well, may.

Same exact problem as described in the thread you mentioned.

Yea, I'm having similar problem after update to Sage 7-12, and HD200 latest beta. My screensavers on HD200s are set to cycle thru imported pictures and now after period of time they just stops on "whatever picture" and I can't exit without powering down HD200...

I think this is sage rather than any firmware update for the extender.

First, it does it on the hd100 which has no new firmware.

Second, it seems to be related to the slideshow screensaver because if I set it to logo screensaver, the screen never goes blank requiring a reboot of the extender.

Third, I downgraded one hd200 to the may firmware and it still went blank after going to the slideshow
