Newly added DVDs no longer auto updating
Hey Guys!
Running V7 with BMT/Pheonix fanart but I'm pretty sure this is a BMT issue. Been using these plugins for a couple months and each time I would copy a DVD to the hard drive and refresh my imported media, I would see cover art, backgrounds, posters, etc in my DVD/BD menu. Was working great! However, the last three DVDs I've copied over the last few days have not been auto updating (I've restarted Sage and even rebooted). I'm seeing no metadata or cover art after a refresh. All this was working so well that I never even really went into BMT itself... it just worked automatically. But, on these that are not updating, if I go into BMT and browse and click on the DVD that hasn't updated and "Find Metadata" for the DVD manually, then Sage does see the metadata, cover art, posters, etc. It just isn't working automatically anymore. Some things to note: Fanart enabled is TRUE Automatic Metadata/Fanart Lookups Enabled is TRUE When I first browse to one of these DVDs that hasn't updated, the "Movie Title" is filled in but the "Fanart Title" is blank. Also what is kinda interesting is that the fanart location of, for example, "\\sagehtpc\j\fanart\Movies\We Were Soldiers" is filled in but that folder does NOT yet exist on the hard drive? After I click "Find Metadata", the folder is created and then everything works fine. Basically, BMT seems to be working but just not automatically anymore. Any ideas? On a slightly different note and I don't think it is related, but when I'm browsing the Guide, I notice that TV shows which I have listed as a favorite and I've had recordings performed and fanart has been pulled down, this fanart in the guide is LARGE in the upper right section of the Guide. It takes up most of the area. BUT, when I'm just browsing the guide and select something that I may not have recorded before, the fanart is a much smaller image. Has anybody noticed this before and do you know a way I can make all my fanart in the Guide the "larger style" as the smaller images are difficult to see. I can get a screenshot of what I'm talking about if needed. Note: I tried setting scaling to -1 in BMT but that made no difference. Thanks!!! |

Looks like I got it back to auto updating but I'm not sure what is doing it. LOL
I think the Ortus Trailer plugin installed quite a bit more than just stuff for trailers Looks like BMT and Ortus weren't playing well together. Reading in another thread it sounded like Ortus may have taken over or at least partially taken over metadata updating with a setting that had a bug. I changed a couple settings in the Ortus plugin configuration and the new DVD I just copied updated correctly! I don't know if Ortus or BMT did the metadata stuff but the metadata is updating again! |
