Good cheap (USB) s-video capture device for SD STB from Foxtel
Hi,
Does anyone know of a good cheap USB or network based S-Video capture device I can use to capture SD Video from a foxtel STB ? I am slowly moving to a VMware ESXI based solution for my tv, home automation etc and cant use PCI device's (Cant use PCI passthough as I have an adaptec 3805). FYI - For FTA I am using using a HD Homerun and thats working perfectly. Thanks |

Any of the 'cheap' USB capture devices will likely NOT do the hardware encoding, leaving that up to software. It's supposedly supported, but I haven't tried it myself.
