Using Back on the recordings menu

I created a view with just my user cateogories that works fine... but when I use the back button to go back it takes me inside the first view on the list highlighting the show I was just browsing in my user view.... not the Previous menu.

Are you sure you used the Back command instead of some other command? Back will simply go back to the previous menu and I don't think the malore menus even override that command at all. If you had loaded the same malore menu s multiple times in a row, Back will go back to the previous instances of the menu, but the current view shouldn't change in that situation.

This is non Malore views.

I created a Category "MY Favs"

I added
Criminal Minds ... NCIS etc..

I created a View and Renamed to My Favs. Filtered only "My Favs" Category.

I go into the view from main menu. I browse Ncis or any other to see the recordings... I then use the back button it takes me to the First view which has all recordings unfiltered.

BTW Hidden extras are on and my Sagetv Recording Style is "default".

Please don't post in the hidden extras topic if you aren't using a hidden menu because I'll assume you are referring to the malore menus. And, User Categories are not a hidden feature. I've split this to a new topic.

I managed to reproduce what you describe -- you are going into a grouping & then using Back, at which point the reload of the previous menu isn't keeping the proper view. I'll fix that for the next STV update. Thanks for testing & letting me know about it.
