Linux Version of sage 7 and Netfilx
I am new to the whole htpc thing and heard that netflix was not available on sagetv6.x....will sagetv 7 be able to stream from netfilx accounts? I prefer to use linux for the stability, better resource management and better protection from viruses and such. Also was wondering if the sagetv 7+linux supports working hibernation to help save power. I would hibernate it when not being used but would like it to wake up when I wake it up and scheduled event takes place such as a recording.

No, Sage (even 7) doesn't have built-in Netflix support, beyond that, I doubt any of the various plugins/tricks to getting netflix to work will work on Linux.

You can use playon to watch netflix movies in version 6 and 7 on a linux server. The one caveat to it is that you have to have a windows machine on the network to serve playon, then all you need is EP's plugin for playon.

The v7 (and maybe earlier) on Linux doesnt work with Playon plugin. I have submitted bugs but but they have not been resolved yet.
