Could sage create .EDL files?

My neighbor has a recent ReplayTV and one of the coolest shh don't tell anybody features is an undocumented feature where a remote control button can instantly skip commercials. It also create an edit decision list file (also undocumented) which can be used to remove the commercials later.

Apparently these are undocumented and not encouraged to discuss to keep the powers that be from coming down on Replay like a ton of bricks. Right now eyeballing the commercials in VideoRedo is the most time consuming part for me; I record at the levels I want to archive and I burn them as .mpg data files and watch with MediaMVP, so it takes very little time to process.

This is all fair use; could Sage at least just output in a text file the time sequences where it detects a blank interval? Software could process it later.
