Is there a "search" function in the Netflix menu?

I signed up for Netflix, have PlayON and this great plug in, all is great execpt when I go to Netflix, I cannot seem to be able to search for a movie.

Question regarding the import of pictures with Playon.

I think (correct me if I am wrong) that this plugin added to my SageTV Imports the path C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV\SageOnlineServicesExecs\UPnBrowser\Playon with videos, picutres and movies clicked-on to import.

In my Pictures menu, these are showing up. My question is, can I remove the pictures part of this import withing affecting / confusing PlayON and this plug in?

First off, thanks the EP, Plucky, et al for all the work to achieve netflix integration via Play ON

I essentially have this plugin working with the stock STV and serenity theme. I can view everything fine in the Video menu under folders.

What I'd like to do is have my netflix shows integrate under recordings within show folders/banners. The video tutorial for the plugin shows this working.

When I go into BMT, all netflix tv shows (eg, 24, 30 Rock, etc) are imported in as movies. If I batch import them as recordings, they show up under tv recordings but as a long list of individual shows, rather than under a show specific folder organized/sorted by season/episode chronology.

I feel as though I'm close and probably missing something very simple to achieve the desired integration. If I can get online tv show series to look as if they were recordings, my WAF would go way up.

FYI I'm using Sage 7.1.5 and viewing solely on HD300's. If I understand correctly, much of this can also be done with Diamond (I like the way it integrates recorded movies in the movie wall and movie flow), but it was giving me too many spinning circles under 7.1.5 on my extenders so I uninstalled it until the next update.

Jay,

Firstly you need to have bmt scan you playon files again and make sure to uncheck don't scan media already with metadata (that is not exactly what it says going off memory.) your tv files should be grouped correctly once the metadata gets fixed diamond won't help this issue.

Then wait for next diamond that works with 7.1.5 it isn't far off

silly question, but what in diamond doesn't work with 7.1.5?
I had to upgrade a while ago to 7.1.5 and it sure seems like diamond is mostly happy at least... haven't found anything that was unhappy so far...

As stated in diamond forums it isn't currently supported or recommended why it will function mostly there are allot of orphan items that cause nulls and slowdowns.

I did as you said but no joy. I think bmt is designating each individual playon file as a movie, even after clearing metadata and reimporting (see attachment for example).

The other attachment shows that the playon importer is properly grouping things that should be shows.

Now, within BMT, I cannot find a batch tool to change all files within a subfolder to TV from movies. I think BMT is the problem rather than the playon netflix importer.

Any other suggestions to try?

OK..so for two of my 30 Rock netflix episodes I manually changed the BMT category to movies, did discover default for each, saved the metadata and checked "sage recording" for each. Now these two shows are properly grouped in the recording list (see attachment). However, I do not have the time to manually do this for every single episode of every single show

So, it seems as though BMT isn't automatically bringing the netflix stuff in as expected.....

Could part of the problem be that I created a video import location within Detailed Setup that is also the same as the location set in the plugin configuration
C:\Program Files (x86)\SageTV\SageTV\SageOnlineServicesEXEs\UPnPBrowser\PlayOn

However, nothing would import unless I set this path in both Detailed setup and the plugin config

I have just started using this plugin and it looks very cool. However, I am getting the "You shouldn't be seeing this..." video when trying to play a show from my Hulu queue. The shows/artwork appear in the recordings menu as expected but they all have this error. I have checked the plugin to make sure it is up to date. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin as well as restarted the Sage service. Still getting the error. I am running SageTV Beta 7.1.15 w/ Diamond 3.1. Is this plugin not compatible with 7.1.15? I have attached the UPnPBrowser.log for reference. Thanks.

Sorry, you got caught in the middle of a incomplete release. I've updated everything now so it should start working.

A few notes for Queue Importer People:

• Queue Importer should not be installed on its own anymore, I pulled it in as part of the main "UI Mod->PlayOn For SageTV" Plugin so updating that will update everything. This should take care of a lot of the confusion that came with these two plugins being seperate.
• I've changed how I identify PlayOn videos. Rather than using .playon files, I now embed the metadata right into the dummy videos.

I'm going to have Andy lock down this thread and move everything into the main thread again.
