Sage Freezing?
I just submitted this as a bug - my wife actually had it happen first (though WAF is still very high)...
Sage seems to get locked on the menu when trying to access a recording... and though the sound goes as if you're watching the video (even responds to pause/continue) - all I see is the menu, no video... It requires an exit/restart to fix this problem Anyone else seen this behavior? "-) |

I noticed the problem today also. It went away when I turned off sage and then restarted it.

Is this the same as the problem/workaround discussed in this thread: RC3 Bug and Work Around?
- Andy Edit: I saw the reply below: oh well, I thought maybe that would provide a work around for now... Last edited by Opus4; 05-03-2004 at 07:04 PM. |

Nope - different problem
This is not when you're done and deleting.. .just trying to go watch something - it's like the audio starts, but the video decides to just show the menu. "-) |

I believe I saw this one today as well. I can't reproduce it, but all I got was sound from the current file being played and I could see the normal OSD menu. The menu was actually working which allowed me to change the file I was watching which changed the sound, but put me right back to the menu again. No video. Is that what happened to you too?

This happens to me on every second video i play after freshly rebooting my pc. The only way i can fix it is to restart sagetv. If i turn on the video to play while in menus you can see the video play behind the menu, but i cant get it to exit the menu.
