You can create plugin's that have no actual content, but just dependencies on everything you have installed. This way you could point people towards that instead of building it all into one super plugin.
I just find it way easier to manage what's enabled by doing it in the plugin menu rather than having to build in configuration options. If you want to go the extra mile and add a knob to enable disable in a menu somewhere, then more power to you. btl.

Configure OSD Date & Time Display
Is there any way to configure how the OSD displays the date & time? I would like to somehow separate the day of the month number from the time since the numbers kind of blend together at a quick glance for me. Thanks.

You find it easier to use the plugin manager to add remove options because you are a dev most users know options menu and get all kinds of confused in the plugin menu and I hope it doesn't start becoming a options type menu as having to reload the ui to make a change sounds no fun. |

It might be confusing, but the way you are going Diamond is going to end up being more or less a UI replacement. Which is fine, but if I were you I'd stick with the Diamond STVi being stuff to make the graphics of the theme work. Then you can have another STVi that goes in and changes content to your hearts desire. It's way cleaner that way.
But do what you want. I don't really care. Because phoenix is coming!

There must be some dependency I wasn't aware of. I'll see if I can figure out what it could be. I'm really sorry this isn't working for you.

It will be hard for me to leave the default stv again, but Phoenix does have a good backend API and options are good. I disliked the framentation of sagemc users and defaut users as then you have to develop for multiple stvs to support everyone. |

I would rather not have anything there. Is that possible?

@Ericft Do you have Phoenix Core Services installed? That might be a requirement since some of the calls I'm using are probably from the phoenix jar file. One other thing that might be the problem is if your STV file isn't SageTV7.xml.

You could use CVF plugin as it has an option to show or hide the preview, however you get other customizations too!
Or, PluckyHD could make this small change in the Diamond plugin as all I did in CVF was change the value of "SkipThumbInInfoArea" which exists in the default STV (but it might then interfere with CVF and I use both ). k |

There is the odd show that just had one background for whatever reason that does double up, so unless you source your own extra images they will always be the same. Just a thought. Jeremy |
