v7_0_17 won't play BD iso rips

Correction from title - I have Sage v7.0.17.240. My machine is Windows 7 32 bit. Sage won't play a iso file of Date Night - major stuttering of video and audio. An iso file of Planet Earth Disc 4 is much better but the video is slightly jerky - it looks like there are dropped frames. PowerDVD8 plays both of these files flawlessly on my machine. Any ideas?

Are you using PCM audio? Is it the same as this known issue?

Doesn't that movie use VC-1 as video codec? In that case you simply ran into the VC-1 playback issue that has been discussed many times already.

Sage plays The Aviator fine and "video detail" lists it as VC1.

Now I'm wondering if the issue has something to do with what format the BD rips are. Aviator was ripped to a BDMV folder and plays fine. There are problems with the iso rips.

Where I'm ultimately headed is using a HD300 to stream to a TV in another room. Is it possible that the HD300 will play files that the computer they are on cannot?
