Version .17 seemed to break bluray playback

I noticed that this version included the ability to toggle on/off hd audio and just play the core streams. I installed last night and it seemed to break most of the audio in blurays. TV and Dolby on DVDs seems to still play. DTS is silent though. Even on some that I ripped with just the core streams for version .16 testing no longer work. I checked the registry and the key was created. HD audio was "off" in the settings. Also I get the spinning circle a lot more frequently when trying to even stop some BDs. I also noticed that sagetvtranscoder.exe was eating up lots of CPU. Is that what runs to convert the audio? I don't recall seeing this chew up that much CPU previously. Anyway, I reverted back to .16 and copied my backed up folder over and I have audio again. Is there something else in the audio settings I need to turn on or off?

I am experiencing the same thing. Video is fine, no audio for BD playback.

Did you notice any circles of death if you continue messing with it and loading different videos? I could submit a bug but I won't be able to provide a log until I reinstall which would be late tonight.

I haven't updated to .17 yet but why would sagetvtranscoder.exe have anything to do with audio playback on an HD100/200/300 or a client? Isn't all the audio transcoding done by the player?

Could this be a new feature to allow DTS-HD playback on HD200s (wishful thinking)??

I wasn't sure either. At first I thought someone was connecting to me without me knowing. . I was thinking maybe it was used to strip the extras from dts-hd/ma and just send the core.

I am using Sage directly connected to my TV. No circles of death with the BD playback, just no audio.

I do get the circles quite a bit in the recorded TV screen. As I scroll down the list, about the 2nd page of grouped recordings. It will eventually come back..
