Anyone getting 'null system message'?
I get a daily batch of these under Main Menu > Information and assumed they were a temporary feature of the beta releases. Now well down the RC route I'm wondering if actually these are caused by something else, eg a plugin. Anyone else experienced these? Cheers

I see this too. For me, they seem to appear right after restarting SageTV...I'll have no null system messages, then restart SageTV, and then I'll find one or more of these in the System Messages. But I don't get this daily, and I don't get this every time I restart SageTV. I'm almost certain it's a plugin...are you running the SageAlert plugin? I think I recall this starting to happen shortly after SageAlert went to a shareware model requiring a license for full functionality. Since that change, SageAlert now generates an info message as a System Message each time SageTV starts up and I think it's the only plugin I have that I've seen generate system messages.
If it is a plugin, that's the plugin I suspect is generating the null system messages, but I haven't checked any debug logs to verify it. Possibly a bug with this plugin, another plugin, some weird interaction of plugins, or possibly a plugin that is exposing a bug in SageTV...I'll have to enable debug logging and try to catch it the next time I restart SageTV. [edit] SRE plugin also writes system messages, but I have that option unchecked. It's also possible the messages are being generated during SageTV shutdown and not necessarily when SageTV is starting, because if I recall, these null messages show up before the SageAlert startup info message.
