no, I am not seeing thumbnails either
I have BMT and jetty running on port 8181 instead of 8080 could that be the problem? if so how do I change it? |

Also, is there any way to change the client name?
It is showing the MAC Adress and I have 3 x HD200's I read somthing that it can be changed in SAGETCP SERVER which I did but it does not seem to have had an affect |

I think the web server will allow you to change those names, otherwise you can shutdown SageTV and its service, then edit the SageTV\SageTV\Sage.properties file. There will be some sagex entries with the MacID and the name matching the MacID, just put a more descriptive name (i.e. sagex/uicontexts/0123456789/name=Living Room). You could do it from the SageTCPServer configuration, but for 3 HD200's it would be painful to edit that line...

It seems the port in the sage.properties file was still set to 8080, i have changed it and I can see the thumbnails and the metadata now.
I can see the video when I try and stream something but there is now audio coming through Any ideas |

Where can I get support?
Hi,
I bought this application but it does not work. I know that I installed TCPServer correctly, because I can telnet to the port and I got a version response. The debugging is enabled and I can see the connection. However the iPad application does not work. Help please. Thanks |

Did you configure TiSageTV before launching the app, if not have you made sure to really close it (not just send it to the background) and restart it? If you could zip up the SageTV\SageTV\sagetv_0.txt after a connection attempt, I can have a look. If you setup a password in SageTCPServer, make sure to also use it in TiSageTV.

Version 1.33
- Fix: Modifying some Settings required restarting the application on the iPhone 4. - Fix: Connection state was not properly updated after coming back from sleep mode. The first was mostly noticeable when people would update the Server's IP with the app running, and wonder why they couldn't reconnect without a restart of the app... For the second, if the device goes to sleep for long enough, that shutdowns the wifi antenna, but on wake up, the connection status was not updated.

Fonceur-- I have been enjoying all of the refinements in this app. What would be the chances of getting an indicator on the Home page to the right of the "Information" label like an asterisk that would appear when there are Alerts or Conflicts on the next page. This way you would not have to go to the information page all the time to see of anything was there. Also as an observation, the graphics on the boot screen "TiSageTV" seem to have jagged edges on my screen. I assume it is because of a lesser quality graphic but not sure. This is truly a great app. Thanks for all the updates and your work on this project.

Information = No alerts or conflicts Info (A:42) = 42 alerts, no conflicts Info (C:2) = No alerts, 2 conflicts Info (42 - 2) = 42 alerts, 2 conflicts Alternatively, I could omit the actual numbers and just use the A/C or some other characters... Any preferences?

I don't think that the number of alerts/conflicts would be necessary on the home page. Just an indicator to let you know to go to the Information page to see them would be helpful. That way clutter on the home page would be kept to a minimum.

OK, so any distinction between Alerts/Conflicts, or just a single * regardless?

Just a * appearing next to "Information" on the home screen would be enough to tell you to go to the information page to see the alerts / conflicts.

Broken record
Or is it a broken keyboard......
Here I am again with a request for the keyboard on the remote layout. Or perhaps, is there a way when a text box pops up in Sage (like in search or even in the setup screens) that you can use the native iPhone text entry and then send the entire phrase over? I've been trying to use a wireless Lenova HTPC keyboard and it's driving me up a wall on my HD200. Thanks for listening.

If you check on the wiki, you can see that it was added in 1.34 and that 1.35 is waiting on review, so it should be available by the end of the week...

Version 1.35
- Updated the look of the rectangular buttons on the remote. Version 1.34 - Start the streaming at a higher bit rate (840/240/240 versus 150 for all servers before). - Fix: The change Client/Server was broken for "Sorted by..." lists. - Fix: [iPad] The main menu button visibility was not working properly for the Information screen. - [iPod/iPhone] Added a keyboard + custom buttons tab (configured in SageTCPServer 2.2.2+). - [iPad] Added custom buttons to the Remote (configured in SageTCPServer 2.2.2+). - Can now use the keyboard to input text on a Client (i.e. "Enter text" input field). Discussions about the custom buttons should go in the SageTCPServer thread...

Just got 1.35 and it absolutely rocks! Thanks ever so much for the keyboard support. I'm going to find some lighter fluid and attempt some creative art effect on the old Lenovo HTPC remote.
