New AVerTV CaptureHD
Is there any chance of this card working with Sage?
http://www.avermedia.com/avertv/Prod...il.aspx?Id=530 It looks real promising to me and is MCE compatible. It looks like it's just been released recently. -Skybolt |

I thought this looks more interesting.
http://www.avermedia.com/avertv/Prod...il.aspx?Id=520 This looks like a re branded AVerTV USB HD DVR but it appears to work and come with ArcSoft Total Media Extreme now. If it has a driver for TME I would think it would be possible to get it working with SageTV. |

What you really want Sage TV to support is this model:
AverMedia DarkCrystal HD Capture Station Gerry

I am just ever hopefull of a component PCI/e card for HD. I tried the HDPVR for a little while but way too many lockups for me or should I say blank recordings in the middel of the show.
Thanks for all the feedback, -Skybolt |

I am pretty happy with my HD-PVRs at this point. They are very stable so not likly to buy something like this since it does appear to be a bit of a downgrade on the audio front.
Still, always nice to have a little competition to keep the price down. Especially for someone have problems with HD-PVR. |
