Figured it out - manually downloaded the zip, copied it across and now it all works.

I'll test this out myself tonight... I'm about to grab the .23 build myself.

Yes - seemed an odd one - wonder if it was permissions related (I switched UAC to lowest but that didn't help).
Oh well - working now ! Cheers Mark

Mark, I am having this same problem and it is driving me mad. I am trying to install the Phoenix Core Services on a Win 7 HP 64-bit client and keep getting this error. When I go to the PluginInstallers directory in Sage, I notice something peculiar. In the Phoenix Core Services directory, under the most recent build number, there is a file that ends in "zip" but has no extension. If I give it a zip extension, it appears all of contents of the zip file are there. Here are my questions:
1. Are you saying that you solved this by extracting this file to the Sage directory? 2. Is there the potential to mess anything up doing it this way (conflicting jar files or such)? 3. Upon restart, will the Sage Plugin UI recognize that this plugin has been installed even though it was done the "old school" way outside of the GUI? 4. Will other plugins that rely on Phoenix Core Services (eg. Diamond UI for v7) recognize that the plugin is installed already? 5. Have you successfully upgraded to newer versions of Phoenix Core Services (via the GUI) when available? I have gone so far as to uninstall Sage, delete the SageTV directory, and do a fresh install of 7.0.23 to get this to work. And I still get the same failed zip extraction error (with no plugins installed). If doing it manually takes care of the issue and it will upgrade through the GUI, then I will go that route. Thanks in advance for your help.
