Record to Folder/Catagory?

Long time BTV user here and I check out Sage after every update but I did a quick search and didn't find the answer to my question. On the recordings page, can you separate recorded shows into different categories? I ask this because my wife hates going through all my History or Discovery Channel shows (I record just about every new show they have) in order to find hers. Alternately, I hate having to scroll through 20 different cooking challenge shows to find mine! This is the biggest reason I convinced her to dump the Tivo in favor of a PC-DVR. In BTV, I can set up folders for every person in the household or by genre so that one can go straight to their recordings without having to scroll through the entire list of recently recorded shows. I can't find this feature listed, but I hope it's included in Sage as well. Thanks in advance, I'll probably try v7 this weekend.

Check out the SageTV v7 PDF manual (link is in my sig lines if you don't already have SageTV installed). The SageTV Recordings menu starts on p. 40.

You can group by category and/or you can set up separate views, where each view has its own sorting/grouping/filtering options. One way to set up views per person is to use the new user categories in v7, where you can assign user defined categories to recordings or Favorites & then filter a view to include only the ones you want to see in that view.

Or, the hidden features has a custom 2-pane menu (referred to as "malore menus" that has more customization options.
