You guys have enabled Currently Recording to show up? And you have something currently recording? I need more info to try and duplicate that.

I will look at the DVD stuff. I don't use it so I could easily have hosed something there. I may just fore it to go to the Frey OSD for non library DVD's.

Hey, I don't have the software in front of me know, but what/where is the Cutsom1 command on the OSD (in terms of using the full guide). Sorry for my lazy effort.

There are Custom1- Custom5 command available that you can bind to (remote, key, whatever). Set that up just like you would any other remote binding. They should be in the list of available commands to bind to.

Put up a new version that uses the Frey DVD player and also fixes the progress bar issue.

Just uploaded beta 1 of 1.4.

New feature exposed is a new Sage Recordings menu. Works similar to my old two pane style menu.

Enable it via Detailed Setup\Advanced\Use Enhanced Sage Recordings.

Make sure you try out all the grouping and sorting options. The group section and the airings section have their own sorting capabilities so be sure to try both. Bring up the options menu when on the group section to select options for the grouping, bring up the options menu when on an airing to select options for the airings.

Thanks!

Yeah I have not figured out how to get the left arrow to go yet. It looks fine in Studio but it does not work.

Attached is a screen cap.

MlbDude:

You were the discoverer of "videoframe/additional_video_filters=" for adding post precessors, in particular, ffdshow. A legendary find.

I think it was Stnger89 in that thread that suggested to Jeff that he make a seperate menu line item for the post processors added into "videoframe/additional_video_filters=".

Can this be done with Studio? Can it be that the post processors be shown and selected seperatly from the decoders? As you know, with the post processors listed with the decoders, one is not certain or have convenient control of decoder choice without using the aid of Radlight or something to set decoder merit. I'm not suggesting that Sage find and list the post processors; they would still need to be manually added to the sage.properties parameter line "videoframe/additional_video_filters=" but would be listed and chosen seperatly from the decoder list. Perhaps there should be a seperate properties line item for the post processors since "videoframe/additional_video_filters=" does have a purpose other than post processor listing.

I would be nice to see this post processor menu item edit to the OriginalV2 STV as well as the other custom STV's developed by yourself and Malore. This seems like something that should have been included as a fundamental capability.

Also, could Studio be used to make the Guide command a "toggle" type command or define one of the Custom commands to be a Guide toggling type command? The Info command is toggle type and sure wish the Guide command worked the same.

Fixed the left arrow mouse problem. Will be included in a release tomorrow.

DFA,

ffdshow
I don't see any way to do this. But would love to see it also.

Guide command could easily be set to a toggle. Since I added Custom1 as a command to take you to the LiveTV Guide in my STV I am also going to make the Custom1 command issue a Back command from within the LiveTV Guide. I use the Guide command in LiveTV guide to bring me back to current time so I don't want to change that.

Anyone else see this? Using the beta 1.4 skin with enhanced osd, ff2 and rw2, the timeline display doesn't show up when using girder (with x10 lola) but will show up if I use keyboard to do the same function.

MlbDude:

Thanks. I just wanted to know if it was possible since I am trying to get some idea of what can and can't be done with Studio.

Thanks mlbdude...so it doesn't show the list of series titles on the left? You have to scroll one by one on top?

Yes. I dropped the left and right two pane because there just was not enough space to show both items properly. By moving the title list to the top I am able to display the airings in their entirety. Plus I don't have any of the issues related to side by side tables.

You enable and disable it via the Options menu on the Main Menu.

Also added for the next release the ability to Select the current group in the new Sage Recordings menu to bring up a quick select pop-up menu.

Fixed... on this client, rw2 is mapped to F5 & ctrl+F7 and ff2 is mapped to F6 & ctrl+F8. Girder was using to F5 and F6 when the timeline display didn't show. After I changed girder to ctrl+F7 and ctrl+F8 for rw2 and ff2, the timeline display showed up.

found a small bug
I was watching a chappelle's show ending at midnight
the main menu before I went to watch the show said chappelle's show recording like it should
I started watching the show about 10 minutes after it started and finished watching it about 12:10 am
When I finished watching the chappelle's show
I hit close file to get back to main menu without having to watch some women's comedy show
When I did this (I am getting to the bug)
the chappelle's show was still listed as recording but underneath the text that said overhaulin was the next upcoming recording later this afternoon
the text was layed over the old
I put sage to sleep and rewoke it and it was fine again

like I said small bug
