You guys are talking about how the menu leaves black shadows of itself on the left with video background with Overlay and color keying off right? I get that too in any STV.

If they can't fix that they should force color keying enabled if you do Overlay and video background.

mlbdude, no its the background image you use. The ghosting is really bad in detailed setup. if its changed to the original bg image, the ghosting is eliminated. I meant to tell you that the other day.

Background image is the same as the one in Frey's STV. That is not something I have changed.

If I load up OrigionalV2.stv I get the same results. However, I got my source from OrigionalV2 so maybe it is wrong in the .19 version?

I will look closely when I get home.

Ok, I just looked, it definitely cures the detailed setup but it does not fix the imported video files ghosting. You still see the "Play DVD, Imported video file , etc under where the imported video files are located.

This is the fixed:

Notice the black background in the screwy. Thats how it appears in all menus. It does not how up as the standard background.

Wow. For me it always looks like the second image. I will try to duplicate.

EDIT: The last release may have a bad location for the background image. Will fix tonight.

Somethign else I just noticed, even though the ghosting of the menu is gone, there is a ghost of the panel around the standard panel. Its visable in the fixed pic.

Can you try the older version? I am wondering if I uploaded a bad or corrupt version.

have you uploaded a new one
also you said they should enable color keying no matter what with overlay
well then VMR 7 is out of the question
mine as well not make it available and make overlay default render

When I get off my real job I will upload a fixed version. I would guess that 1.1 did not have this issue though so that could get you by.

Heh, here is a fix before mlbdude gets to it........if you go back to the original stv and then copy his stv to this dir:

C:\Program Files\Frey Technologies\SageTV\STVs\OriginalV2

Then reselect it everything works fine.

Have you tried a Timeslot favorite yet? Once I get a second confirmation that that works I will bring it out of beta.

OK, I checked and all background image locations are identical between the OrigionalV2.STV and the MlbDude.STV and I can't duplicate this at all.

One note from the post above, make sure you are always running my STV from the SageTV\STVs\OriginalV2 directory.

MlbDude:

I have installed the 1.3beta. I have two favorites set up that have multiple occurances daily.. (Simpsons & South Park) I did not see any difference in the display. What/Where should I be looking for the modification?

Will do this right a way, will be great for "hannity and colmes".... I'll know if it doesn't record the 11pm showing tonight. (4 hours from this post). I've been doing manual records of this show for about 2 months.

Any chance this working for like only recording say like "Everyone loves Raymond" reruns at 9pm instead of 9pm and 9:30pm. These have seperate program ids, they are back to back reruns that get shown on the same channel out here. I only want to record the 9pm reruns, not both. Just curious... : )

EDIT
I saw the interface, it's not possible because the slots are hour intervals. I love the idea of the time intervals!! This studio stuff is just so powerful. How long does it take to make a change like this? It's really exciting to see how much we get to toy with the system.

I don't see a way to do it by half hour intervals but I will look into it.
