Rebuilding SageTV database
I'm just getting started with SageTV & SMM. I may have a few questions along the way. I have everything installed on my desktop, and eventually plan to use Sage HD300 as an extender.
SMM UI loads up fine on my Win7 PC. When I go to play a video, I get that there is no SageID found and I need to rebuild my database (either SageTV or MyMovies). My current movie path is \\Dcs1-pc\j, and the Sage import directories are: \\Dcs1-pc\j, \\Dcs1-pc\g, and \\Dcs1-pc\g\Movies. So my current movie path and one of my Sage import directories do indeed match, but I suspect I need to rebuild my Sage database so that it takes affect. How do I do that? Thanks! |

Go into the Sage Plugins menu, installed plugins, then I think under General find the Sage My Movies API. Select it and here you will find an option to "configure". Select the "rebuilt database" option. It might not seem like anything is happening but IIRC you'll see the Sage My Movies icon pop up in the upper header. When this icon goes away, the database rebuild is complete.

Got it. That worked. Thanks.
