Blu-ray Rips and Subtitles
I have several blu-rays backed up on the server. I've used DVDFab, and they play really smoothly. The only prolem I have is that none of the films are displaying subtitles. Obviously I've tried activating them in the pop up menu, but it makes no difference. It wouldn't be a problem, but some of my films are in a foreign language! Is it likeley to be a codec, or a ripping issue? Or perhaps something within sage?

In DVDFab you do have the option to not rip the subtitle or alternate audio. So make sure that those boxes are checked to include them.

Cheers for the responses. If DVDFab has the option to leave them out it's most likeley that I simply haven't checked that box. I haven't tried them in any other players, simply because I didn't know I could. I'll try all those things and get back to you

I've been testing with a couple of MKV files, Avatar mkv with IDX (480p) subs (works fine on the HD300) and Babel with SRT subs. Bringing up the video options menu does not give the Subtitle selection box at all. Does STV support any sub format in an MKV container?
