Anyone have this yet? I am thinking of buying the 160gig version.
to house some full dvd rips.

I've used it and love it. It's extremely easy to use and the new versions have a power switch - yippee!

You'll only be able to get about 20 on that drive, and $250 seems awful expensive for 160Gb, at least if plan on using it for a DVD library.

Actually, I just slapped a 200 gig drive in an old p500. Amazingly it worked with the card supplied with the drive. I was sure that I would have the above 135 gig problem. My rips vary from 4 to 6 gigs with an average of about 5.2. That would have been a good 30 on the netdisk. I still may end up picking one up.

If I were you , I would double check the version of your ATAPI.SYS file mentioned in this MS KB article. I had a problem where everything appeared to work correctly... until it didn't & I lost the entire partition. Updating this file fixed it. (This is for XP.)
