New Install: SageTV Seems TB Hanging On Startup

Splash screen comes up.

Within a quarter of a second, it says "Object Database is initializing... 47% done"

And then it just sits there. Process Explorer shows it running SageTVTranscoder.exe repeatedly, but total CPU is always less than 2%.

I've been running Sage on a WSH box.

Now I want to move it to an XP machine.

Wiz.bin is in the conventional location: C:\Program Files\SageTV\SageTV, but it has been copied from the server.

The server's shares - pointed to by Wiz.bin entires - are, however all available.

It was running OK a half hour ago on the XP box using another Wiz.bin. Onset of problem coincides with moving the server's Wiz.bin to the XP box and with hooking up an HD HomeRun to the XP box.

Anybody got a thought? . . . 47%?

Also, I seem tb better than most at making bone-headed errors.... so let you mind run free....

Can't figure out how to delete this post, but FWIW the problem went away after a re-boot.
