Blu Ray Stutters in Extender Mode but not Standalone Mode

I am going crazy trying to track down this issue. I get have blu ray stutters when my HD300 is connected to the Sage Server--but it plays perfectly in standalone mode. This happens when serving blu rays from my NAS (Thecus N7700 in 7x1TB Raid 5) or from a local server hard drive.

Server is a Core i7, Win 7 x64, 6GB Ram. I've tried both the onboard realtek NIC as well as a discrete Intel NIC. I've tried changing the NIC settings (flow control, Offload settings, etc) to no avail. Home network is Cat-6, all gigabit (except obviously the HD 300 and HDHR tuners). All wired runs terminate at a new Dlink DGS-3100-24 switch. I've also tried turning off network throttling off in Win 7's registry settings, also no change. Java Heap size is 1024.

The frustrating part is that I cannot replicate the issue at will. Sometimes blu rays play perfectly,other times they stutter every 10-15 minutes. Each stutter is small, but the stuttering continues for 2-3 minutes until something "catches up"

Any ideas? WAF is falling. Love Sage and the HD-300's--but this is really, really frustrating me.
