Reimporting database creates duplicates

I built a new server and have everything setup. I'm not setting up MyMovies by reimporting my database from my old server. The paths should all be the same because I made the RAID5 array the same drive letter and copied everything over. In CM I did a database import, and then a folder scan at the top level of where I keep my movies; G:\Media\Movies. After it's done it tells me there is over 1500 added with data, 400 not added, and 5 removed. Why is it trying to add new movies when they are already there? The rest are fine.

Not every movie was a duplicate though, only some of them. The first time I did this I went through and verified every piece of information was correct on over 1600 movies, and I'm not doing that again.

So either do a folder scan or an import. Don't do both. You're creating the duplicates by doing both. (Forget the import and just let the folder monitoring find everything. It will take a while.)
