Client load on startup problem/solution

For some unknown reason Client wouldn't load on startup. Server loads just fine. Tried both tray and full screen, restarts and cold boots. Just didn't want to auto load on the Client. (both new installs v2)

No biggy, I simply copied and pasted the desktop Client icon into "startup" in the prog menu, loads with WinXP now! Though always in regular window mode not Tray and doesn't return to full screen mode I'd left it in. Again, no biggy. Just toggle the remote to full screen.

The reason I want it to auto load on WinXP startup is so the Client will be more like a VCR. I have the power button/XP set so pressing it does a graceful shutdown. So obviously when Debi presses the power button to turn it on SageClient best be loaded for WAF!

Now if I can figure out how to have the PVR 250 remote turn it on and off remotely... any ideas?

Perhaps see this post regarding the Windows shutdown command? Note: I have never tried it; just remember seeing it listed. Once the computer is off, I have no idea how you could turn it on with the remote, since the machine is off...

Thanks, I'll play with it and give it a try. Should have thought of checking XP help for the info!
