modify station column - how?

I have created my own logos for station identifications, because I don't like: 1520 WNBC, instead I would like to say NBC E. As it turns out in version 2, the logo takes up a little more than a third of the column header and can hardly be seen on my TV. The 1520 WNBC is quite a bit larger and easier to read.

Since my logo has to be named WNBC, why can't my logo take up the entire space? Is there a way to do that?

Thanks,
