What port has to be opened for "discovery"

I have one SageTV client system, and two SageTV Servers, one on Windows 7 and one Ubuntu 10. I've set up a firewall on the Ubuntu system, and can connect with the SageTV client, IFF I enter the IP address. The client "discovers" the Windows SageTV server, but cannot detect the Ubuntu one, unless I disable the firewall.

I have opened up all the ports listed in the FAQ, but it still does not see the server. I've tried to find out which one it is talking on with netstat, but it seems that the connection goes away too quickly, and I have not be able to catch it.

Anyone solved this yet? Thanks!

-Judy

Are both your servers on the same subnet? If your client is a Windows 7 make sure you have set it to "Turn on Network Discovery" and your Network is configured as a Home or Work network and not a Public network.
