ATI AIW Remote?

Will the ATI AIW Remote work with Sage TV 2? If not I do have the Hauppage 350 pvr remote. Is there a guide for using this remote with SageTV 2.0?

Let's see, if the AIW is equal to Remote Wonder... there is this thread (SageTV plugin for ATI Remote Wonder) or this thread -- the 2nd one deals with the X10 Lola remote, but it uses the same ATI plugin for Girder. There are probably other threads -- do a search for that remote.

As for the Hauppauge remote, check the links in my sig lines, below, including the FAQ link. The installation guide includes a layout of the buttons, except that the stop button is now mapped to the new Stop command by default.

Which Remote would be better to use, the ATI Remote Wonder or the Hauppage Remote?

(I don't have the ATI remote.) Which one is easier for you? Which one has more buttons? The Hauppauge remote only has 34 buttons & one thing people want fairly quickly is a remote with more buttons to be able to control more SageTV commands via the remote. You can buy a replacement remote to use with the Hauppauge receiver, which my docs tell you how to do, but if your ATI remote has more buttons & does what you want, it might be a good option.

Maybe someone else with both remotes will chime in...

I would use the plug in with the ATI remote wonder
I have one and with girder,
girder will not let you use channel up and volume up
the plug in is nice and you can use the ati remote with more applications easier via plugins
got mine setup for TheaterTek and SageTV
the hauppauge remote you will have to program yourself or use girder
but I like the ATI remote better
try out the hauppauge remote and if you do not like it try to ATI
the hauppauge remote is set up almost perfectly by sage just so you know you do not need to use girder
the ATI does not really have that many more buttons but it does allow you to have mouse support also
if you use girder with the ATI remote depending on the pkugin you can lose the mouse support ( and the mouse pad will just be come buttons)
